No matter what you are going through, no matter the obstacles in your way, no matter your fears and doubts, NEVER give up on your dreams.
We have the power to absolutely create the life we want, but it doesn’t mean it’s going to be easy.
Sometimes there will be obstacles; some caused by ourselves and our own mindsets. I still have my doubts and negative self-talk to deal with and that’s something I work on every, single day, and I tap into my calling and my mission with fresh resolve.
Sometimes the blocks can be caused by others.
Sometimes it will feel like bloody hard work.
Sometimes we will wonder if it would be better to give up and give in (NEVER!).
But no matter what challenges you are facing right now, you must never, ever quit. Do NOT give up on yourself.
I’m reminded of this poem by Edgar Guest.
When things go wrong as they sometimes will,
When the road you’re trudging seems all up hill,
When the funds are low and the debts are high
And you want to smile, but you have to sigh,
When care is pressing you down a bit,
Rest if you must, but don’t you quit.
Life is queer with its twists and turns,
As every one of us sometimes learns,
And many a failure turns about
When he might have won had he stuck it out;
Don’t give up though the pace seems slow–
You may succeed with another blow,
Success is failure turned inside out–
The silver tint of the clouds of doubt,
And you never can tell how close you are,
It may be near when it seems so far;
So stick to the fight when you’re hardest hit–
It’s when things seem worst that you must not quit.
And always remember, believe more is possible.
Laptop Life Update!
I was actually quite sad to leave these beautiful views on Friday after 2 weeks. The weather had been amazing and I was able to sit outside, soak up nature’s amazing beauty and work my little heart out helping others achieve their dreams.
It was a mix of a retreat (I was almost a complete hermit and hardly saw anyone in person!), and a 2 week ‘head down and gets stuff down’ intensive.
On Friday I came back to Birmingham and held my Success Masterclass for the Workers Educational Associate – thank YOU to those of you who came along! It made my day to see you there and to get to have chats with you!
After couple of days back home, I’m about to embark on new adventures and this afternoon I’ll be driving to a new pad – an old farm house with an indoor pool (I’ve packed my swimming costume!) and after that I’m having a few days in Glastonbury, and after that I shall be in stunning home further south. That’ll take me up until mid-July and after that….who knows!
Have a great Monday. Make your mark on the week and go out and make your dreams come true!
