Today I’m going to share with you how to journal to heal from emotional abuse and how writing can heal.
When you learn how to use journaling for healing after emotional abuse you will be taken powerful steps towards your recovery from being in a toxic relationship.
There are lots of different ways in which your writing can heal and I’m going to be giving you lots of journal prompts for healing.
I’m also going to be sharing how I used journaling for my own personal recovery from narcissistic abuse and to repair my mental health.
I’ve had to learn to how to recover for CPTSD (PTSD, PTSR) after being in an emotionally abuse relationship with a covert/malignant narcissist, and part of that recovery began with keeping an abuse diary.
Tip: Keeping an abuse diary can help if you ever need evidence should you decide to report the crime to the police and prosecute your abusive boyfriend.

Keeping an emotional abuse diary may sound like a morbid thing, but it WILL help you get all the confusion going on in your mind out of your mind and onto the paper and with every word, bit by bit, slowly, over time, you will heal. It’s very powerful stuff.
I wrote in my emotional abuse journal whilst I was trying to break free from my narcissist; this was actually long before I truly realised that I was in an emotionally abusive relationship with a narcissist.
Emotional abuse erodes your identity, but thankfully there is such a thing a emotional abuse RECOVERY. I’m happy to be able to share my emotional abuse relationship story with you if it helps you get through today, and tomorrow and helps you to create a beautiful life you fall in love with.
Narcissistic abuse will change you but it doesn’t have to be for the worst and healing from narcissistic abuse make you a survivor!
Writing is healing. No doubt about it.
