I know what it’s like. The same day. Every day. The same people. And especially that annoying one that just rubs you up the wrong way! The sinking feeling on Sunday night and the sickening feeling on Monday morning. I used to literally ban anyone I knew from mentioning the ‘W’ word when it was the weekend! But to be honest, in some ways, none of that matters anymore. It stopped mattering the moment you decided you CAN take control and you WILL take action; it’s like your life depends on it!
You can absolutely chose FREEDOM. It’s there. It’s yours for the taking.
I felt SO trapped in the 9-5 soul sucking jobs I had. It literally made me ill and I got really depressed. It was an incredible realisation that THE TRAP WAS OF MY OWN MAKING! When I realised that, I walked out of my 10 year ‘secure’ job that day. There and then. I didn’t have a safety net, I didn’t have a partner, I didn’t have money in my bank account, but what I did have was a determination to start claiming back my life. That was just the beginning and now, as I write this, I am sitting in a sunny Valencia apartment and living a location independent life, tomorrow I’m going to Barcelona, and then….. who knows!
