The best investment I've made in my business this year

As we are inching (or perhaps speeding!) our way closer to 2014, I want to tell you you about one of the best investments I’ve made in my business this year.

We all invest in our businesses. We make sure we’ve got all the equipment we need that will support us, and replace and update it as we need or want to, but how much time do you invest in yourself?

We get so busy in the DOING part of our business that it can be easy to forget to take the time and invest in ourselves and our learning and self-development.

One of the best investments I continually make in my business is in myself.

I invest the time to learning and getting inspired.

Until recently my Sundays were film days. Now I’ve turned them into Sunday Self-development days where I’ll catch up on my reading and have a pen and paper ready to write down my ideas as I go along and inspiration strikes.

One of the other things I’ve done a lot more this year is attending workshops, webinars, and seminars. Not only does it give you a good opportunity to meet some like-minded people, it’s great to learn from someone else and get a different perspective work and business.

I’ve never regretted investing that time, or money. There is always something to learn from someone else and I always come away with that little bit more knowledge that will serve me well.

investing in ourselves

Investing in ourselves, enables us to keep moving through our businesses and taking massive strides forward. If we keep doing the same things we will stay in the same place and I don’t know about you, but I want my business to grow!

What are some of the best ways that you invest in yourself and your business? Let us know!
