Freedom, flexibility and wealth are on my mind this morning…Do you have these in your life?

When we walk away from the ‘norm’ and choose a different path in life it can be easy to not trust that we can design our life however we want. The rules of society are deeply ingrained in us and can take a while to shake off… It’s almost like coming out of a cult where we have been brain-washed into believing ‘this is the way life has to look’. I remember it taking many years for me not to feel like I had a boss breathing down my neck; I still felt like I was answerable to someone!

So, when you create a life on your terms, create it with freedom and flexibility so you don’t re-create a rigid structure you’ve left behind.

Society and the way our working lives are set up isn’t set up with freedom and flexibility. In fact, quite the opposite. I want you to be mindful, no matter how long you have been living a life of freedom, or if you are just beginning, that you CAN write your own rules, and design your life and work however YOU like. HOWEVER you like.

YOU get to make the rules.
YOU get to choose what freedom looks like.
YOU get to call the shots.
YOU get to design your life from the minute you get up to the minute you go to sleep.

Sometimes that can feel too much for some people. It’s like going into free-fall. If no-one is telling them what to do, where to be, how to act, what to wear, how to speak for 5 days a week then they are left with a void. Society has done a good job of conditioning us to do work we don’t like, to the point where we think that doing work we LOVE is ‘too good to be true’.

Now, financial wealth is great, but let’s not forget about TIME wealth as well. No matter how much money you have if you haven’t got freedom and flexibility in your life then you aren’t truly wealthy.

You may have seen that I’m on a weight-loss mission and I’m going to the gym everyday. My initial thoughts about going to the gym were that I wouldn’t have the time. I knew it would take 3-4 hours out of my day everyday (by the time I dressed for the gym, walked there, worked out, walked home, showered, changed etc). I had to catch that limiting thought – wasn’t I the BOSS?! Wasn’t I the one who could have it all?

OF COURSE!

I have decided that going to the gym, and therefore becoming fitter and stronger will bring me more success, freedom and money. I’ll have even MORE energy to do the work I want and to follow my passions which will automatically align me to making more money, freedom, and flexibility. And it will be so because I just KNOW it.

Create your wealth from the inside out;
Live aligned with your values, morals and passions

Then, as you do that, you are in a position to take action towards financial wealth.

When you feel wealthy, you’ll attract wealth.

Time, freedom, choice and flexibility are just some of the other ways to measure your wealth.
