Claiming your identity in God will force you to have higher standards in life.
The things you once overlooked… you simply won’t have the capacity to tolerate anymore.
The excuses you used to make, for yourself and for others, begin to feel weak in the face of a God-standard life.
The gaps between your thoughts and your actions become clearer as God aligns you with your true identity and closes the distance between who you’ve been and who you are becoming.
Something has shifted.
The seal has been broken.
You are free to expand without restriction.
You are free to become all you were created to be.
Your eyes are open and you can see clearly what is for you and what is not.
And you have the discernment to truly CHOOSE.
You get to occupy your sovereignty fully and without apology.
You will no longer want to cast pearls before swine.
So often we become slaves to other people’s opinions, but it’s what God says about you that matters.
As you may have read earlier this year, my word for 2026 is No, and I must admit it is serving me even better than I had anticipated! For every NO to people, places, demands, and thoughts that do not serve, I have found myself creating a beautiful spaciousness where there is peace, freedom, and time to focus.
In the Lord’s Prayer it says, “Thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven.” God’s will should flow through our thoughts, our words, and our actions. There is no higher standard than the identity God has placed within you.
The trouble is, we often try to bypass Him. We think we can do it ourselves.
That used to be my message; that you are your own god and the power lies only in you. Forgive me for my mis-teaching!
You are already gifted.
You are already anointed.
These are not things you need to buy.
Your ‘job’, if you like, is to accept the blessings/indentity that god has given you and you will find yourself naturally being guided to a higher standard in life.
God is the architect of your character.
Your roles is to align with that truth.
Expect change.
At times you will not recognise yourself as you let go of the old self-built parts of your life, the parts built on influence, and society and the word of man. But slowly, allowing the time for your new authority to grow inside of your mind and spirit, you will find yourself renewed, and in alignment and naturally rejecting your old standards as your new God-given standards become your norm now.
Your sovereignty is in coming into alignment with who you are here to be and the work you are here to do is more prestigious than anything that mere man can ever offer or tempt you with.
