You can’t stay in the same place for too long in business. The things that serve you well now might change next month. You will have to go outside of your comfort zone if you want to push past any barriers that you are holding onto. As entrepreneur you won’t have much choice in the matter and when you’ve done it once, you will KNOW that you will be able to do it again.
Your people skills will rocket
As an entrepreneur you will meet and hopefully work with a lot of people. Some people you will know,some people you will get to know. You’ll learn how to deal with different types of people, learn who will be a good fit for you and your business and what you do and just as importantly who you don’t want to work with!
It’s a great confidence booster
You are doing it! If you are a solo entrepreneur you have to be a good self cheer leader and remember to celebrate your success! Get a group of close business confidants around you and be sure to share your success with then. I remember when I first generated my own money and someone paid for my services. It wasn’t very much, but when I had that money in my bank account it might as well have been a million dollars.
I invest a lot of time and energy my personal development. My Sunday’s are now self-development Sundays. I immerse myself in learning more about my business and developing my skills. There’s always something new to learn!
