What makes you the way you are? Your beliefs.
Your beliefs are the most powerful determining factor in how you live your life.
Your beliefs are literally the filter for the reality that you see before you.
Remember, your beliefs affect EVERY area of your life:
– Physical health
– Mental health
– Spiritual/religious views
I recommend that you check-in and challenge your beliefs every day – even the moment you identify a belief that isn’t serving you.
So, how do beliefs form in the first place?
Quite simply you will have an experience in life and you will adopt a belief about that experience. Now, two people could have the exact same experience but have polar beliefs about it. Think about that.
But now you have adopted a belief about that experience, your belief will reinforce what you see and experience in the world.
So you get confirmation of your belief time and time again – UNLESS you break the cycle.
How do you break the cycle?
You change how you see yourself in the world and in your environment.
For example, if you believe that you are a person who will never find true love, then that will be the case.
But if you want to break the cycle, you have to become the person for whom love is available to you. And not just any old love, the best love in the world. When you treat yourself differently, the world, and the people in it will treat you differently too.
THEN your experience will change.
THEN your beliefs will change.
Transformation is possible.
You can become the person you see yourself to be with everything you desire in it and it all starts on the inside your beliefs.
