The devil will tempt you with exactly what you think you want. 👿
If you’re moving towards a higher power, don’t be surprised if you’re being asked to return to your old ways.
As some of you know, about ten months ago, I left behind practices that had been integral to my life for many years. I walked away from magic, crystals, the occult, ceremonies, spells, rituals, and the tarot as I began a new journey with God—one that I had been seeking for about eight years.
I’ve had many encounters with the demonic, ever since I can remember, but I thought (perhaps rather naively) that once my relationship with God grew stronger, the devil would leave me alone. However, that hasn’t been the case.
You often hear about people making deals with the devil, like famous musicians or actors, but it can happen to anyone.
The devil knows exactly what to offer.
Just a few days ago, I had a moment where I was shown riches, all the worldly things one could wish for, and a huge audience to share my message with. The offer was beyond my wildest imaginings, and I was almost drawn in – not knowing at first where this vision of the future was coming from.
Then I heard a voice come out of the ether, “There’s just one thing you need to do. You can have all this and more if you just talk about the occult, magic, and tarot with your audience.”
At that moment, I realized what was happening. I was being asked to sell my soul to the devil in exchange for these worldly desires. If I reverted to my old ways, I could have anything I wanted.
Thankfully, I swiftly recognised the source and the cost of this deal and said a hard and fast, NO. There’s no amount of success worth compromising your soul.
This experience got me thinking:
Where are you compromising in your life right now?
What are you doing in your life or business that you know isn’t aligned with your true self and nature?
What beliefs do you continue to hold that may be harming you?
There are many ways we compromise our souls daily.
While we may not be literally signing a contract with the devil, we often know when we’re not operating from our highest place of power.
