God—the Creator—offers limitless revelation, profound insight, unshakable confirmation, and boundless support, far beyond anything you could ever dream of or desire. No creation of His, or anything else, nature or man-made, could ever come close to what He offers when you go straight to Him.
Yet, so many get caught up worshiping God’s creations instead of the Creator Himself. I did that for years! Most of my life in fact and mores when I go sidetracked by the new age.
Take the stars and astrology, for example. God made the stars, but He didn’t make them for you to worship or use to divine your future. Instead of turning to the stars for guidance, turn to the One who made them.
The same goes for nature. Yes, nature is beautiful and awe-inspiring, but it’s a reflection of God’s handiwork. It was never meant to replace Him as the focus of your reverence. Worshiping nature is like praising the brushstrokes instead of the artist.
In the New Age and the occult, this deception runs even deeper. People worship the energy of crystals and burn sage to “clear” spirits. Yes, I’ve been there and done that too! But these are merely things God created—tools, not truths.
Then there are the man-made idols. Money, careers, power, status, and even our phones and social media—all crafted by human hands and minds—become objects of obsession. People chase these things, thinking they’ll find fulfilment, yet they only find emptiness.
All of this—whether it’s God’s creation or human invention—amounts to one thing: bypassing the Creator.
When you turn to these things for meaning, you ignore the life God has lovingly designed for you. You’re His creation, His beloved son or daughter, and He longs for you to come directly to Him.
God doesn’t want you to worship His creations. He wants your heart, your focus, and your worship to be on Him. Why settle for the reflection when you can go straight to the Source?
Let go of the distractions. Stop trying to find divine messages in things that can never measure up to the Creator Himself. Everything you need is in Him, and through Him, you’ll find more than you could ever imagine.
Believe more is possible,
Karen ❤️
